Who we are

Arethusa is one of the first Headhunting and Executive Search firms in Italy specialized in Middle and Senior Management.

Present on the market since 1990, Arethusa has built its success on the application of the direct search method — originally reserved for senior management roles — to all managerial levels, combined with the ability to operate across a wide range of industries.

Over the years, Arethusa’s Executive Search expertise has evolved into a broader portfolio of services, including Organisational Consulting, People Performance Management, People Development and Change Management.

Arethusa has been partnering for decades with Italian and international multinational companies, supporting projects across all organisational functions and serving Clients in sectors such as FMCG, Retail, Industrial/B2B and Services.

Since 2024, Arethusa has been part of &Forward Consulting Group, extending the services offered to Clients beyond Executive Search and Recruitment, while keeping these as its core services. Through the Group, Arethusa can provide broader consulting and business training capabilities across sectors including Industrial, Consumer Goods, Retail and Banking.

EXECUTIVE SEARCH AND RECRUITMENT

Arethusa supports Clients in identifying and selecting the right professionals through a structured, direct-search approach. The service includes understanding the Client’s business and people strategy, cultural and organisational context, expected talent profile and success criteria. Arethusa combines labour-market and sector-specific analysis to refine search criteria, role and competence descriptions, and market-relevant compensation benchmarks:
The process includes targeted research, candidate shortlisting, support throughout the selection phase and post-recruitment follow-up.

ORGANISATIONAL CONSULTING

Arethusa supports Clients in assessing and designing the organisational conditions required for business and people performance.

Services include assessment of company culture, people strategy, talent management processes and tools, review and design of people strategy, assessment and design of organisational set-up, leadership and working processes, definition of assessment and performance methods, and development and succession planning.
